Hi,

I would like to know how acceptable Cosmetic Surgery is to Singaporean and to what degree will you accept or even go for it yourself. Some includes:

1. Lasik
2. Breast Enlargement
3. Lipo Suction
4. Double Eye Lids
5. Laser Resurfacing

Please add to the list, your comments, if you have done it before, care to share the side effects?

i'm definitely interested in LASIK. but, is that considered as cosmetic surgery?

i dont think lasik shd b considered as a cosmetic surgery...?
i'd also like to get one, really.
besides that....i'd rather not go for any plastic/cosmetic surgery...

Ya, you are a Muslim that stays behind the Mosque...Insurance Policy and Company Medical Benefit does not cover Lasik so is considered Cosmetic loh.

Your power too high so will not get perfect, unless I am outdated since 1 year after I have done it, the technology jump 2 steps.

My sister did 1 year after me, I did Lasik, she did Lasik + Wavefront + Lada [that is what she told me]

May be now is Lasik + WF + LD + X-ray eyes :-)

i tink there are different cats of cosmetic surgery

rectification - eg. lasik, skin grafting

enhancements - eg. whitening of skin, estrogen injection

modifications - eg. double eye-lid, higher nose, lipo...

You can try SNEC. Last I enquire it was 2750 per eye. So is 5000+. But I did in JB so in only cost SGD2000 in total. That was 2 years back. I didn't get my astig fix but besides that, everything was perfect. My sis did in Singapore, it was perfect. Think her power was easily 6-700 each.

Well, cause I know more and more people around me are going for it, and I think it is getting more acceptable and popular nowadays.......so not surprise you may have heard your friends done it before...and can see where is the better surgeon loh....
