It simply means that the time you spend away from one you love,
makes you love that person even more.
Persons, places, or things become dearer to us when they are
absent.
I knew this couple who actually do need to see each other everyday.
On the days which they don't, they will call each other up and
quarrel on the phone. Meeting means peace to them. So, i guess
absence makes their heart grow worse.
But if you were to meet up everyday, will u find that person bored
and take him/her for granted?
Or you prefer the MIA mode just for the sake of the topic
