Where to go for birthday?

Ok heres my problem, i asked a girl i like out for my birthday and she has already agreed. Problem is, my bd lies on 31st decem, so everywhere will be packed, n the both of us hates crowds! Besides, most of the eateries would be full.
So does anyone have any suggestion about where to go or do? I need to find somewhere nice to dine in, cant tink of any place atm! Would appreciate any suggestions, thanx in advance!

Make your own sandwiches and all, then bring her to the beach or Botanical Gardens or somewhere quiet but not secluded.. Smile

Haha...my gf's birthday is also on the 31st december.
Anyway, i think celebrating at home is a nice idea provided she's comfortable with you at your house. If not, just a treat at some restaurant will do. What kind of restaurant will depend on the $ you willing to spend. Maybe a good place to eat with good atmosphere is at suntec? I mean those higher class restaurants.

well she dun like overly quiet places, so parks n beaches are out.
i was thinking of a nice atmosphere restaurant but preferably not too x! budget per person $30. but cant think of any places in particular Crying or Very sad

What are consider overly quiet? There're some restaurants with relatively nice atmosphere and reasonable price... Look for those with normal pricing of main course around $20 per pax. Personally, when you talk about NICE ATMOSPHERE for a restaurant I would think of those with GREAT indoor decors and those which leave you in the moonlight outdoors... It's relatively EASIER to find the latter with a good price. Look for one with NICE FOOD... It's really a PLUS... Smaller restaurants as you'll have a chance that they're not charging too high but YET, gives you the personal FRIENDLY TOUCH.... You can even make special request like music to be played or bringing of birthday gift to that girl on a serving tray with the food or something... Use your imagination and creativity...

Be EXTRA SWEET and CARING... If my 'prediction' is right, that should be quite an IMPORTANT BONUS...? Wink

hmm.. if $$ shldnt be a problem with u, make reservation on some rest like swensen or others.. to prevent pack pple, can try going world trade centre.. the bridge linking to sentosa.. very romantic.. =)

Haha...for New Year Eve...hard la...but if u are not too particular with ambience......somewhere quiet would be the cafe at Airport Terminal 1 (Level 3). That should be one of the least crowded places around liao during that time. Offering local food. Wink
