what makes an old lady cry?

as above..what actually triggers the tears of an 70 yr old plus lady to cry??
given that she has almost walk thru all woks of life...and she is not alone..she has 7 children,13 grandchildren n 4 great grandchildren... Rolling Eyes she use to be the pillar of the family.. and like to act and be strong.......

My grandma oso similar, though not dat many kids... but can tell she is crying despite denial... coz no 1 truely understands her & she refused to tell us wats bugging her & she is infact LONELY. after grand daad died.

maybe she is lonely......in the sense tt her children/grandchildren no visit her often enuf.....
or maybe some psychological worries like....wat will happen to them if she is gone........sibling rivalry......

my great-grandma used to stand by the window eberyday.....to "wait" for my granduncles they all to come visit her......

Well... at least my grand ma now accept her fate liao & had lotsa fishes to accompany her... I nearly believed my uncle took 1 luo han fish to cook... XO

Sometimes having relatives around doesn't mean that they're actually connecting or bonding with each other. Although families remain close, it could be that noone is really able to talk or understand your grandparent.

Another thing that really upsets the elderly is when they feel useless because of their health or some other disability. Having their body slowly breaking down, and being helpless to do anything about it, makes them feel sad and fustrated.

it is not required of her to be strong.. as in there's enough ppl to withstand any"storm" etc etc.. maybe she is just wanting to act strong??like machiam.. i am the yi jia zi zhu like that...

Shocked actually my grandma told me that its edible.....they use to fried and eat these luo han fishes.....

she is quite healthy.....just that she has some knee problem....i think maybe only a few are able to understand how she feels........

i think the worst is for her to be “betrayed” by her very own children. she spent countless years bringing them up and caring for them, only to have them neglect her. that’s what happens ever so often ….. it’s sad

Maybe she know that she can't live forever and having to leave all her childrens and grand childrens make her sad? Confused

lao ren jia sometimes will bei chong zhong lai and cry one.

Maybe thats the tears of joy.. having seen her childrens grown up... having their own families and kids... and as she thinks back of the hard work she had put in to bring them up... she can't help but cry for what she done is worth it.

If only if I cld tok some semse into her... she's so stubborn & old fashioned dat she made my mum cried, my uncles fed up, my little brother oso dun like her much... Hiao... even I oso can hardly take it for I m being wif her da most... So far only my little "kawaii" cousin gal liked her... but now she sick... so never visit... >_<

Wats da point of hanging on when U r suffering daily, losing sight, near deaf, weak body, failing lungs, kidneys & hearts... not to mention mountains of medcines any1 can puke at da mere sight of it...

My granny is 70++++. She have 5 children and 10 grand daughters n grandsons. But in her loneliness she cried. She only showed it to me cos im the closest grand daughter. Ever since my grandpa passed away, life become so tough for her and slowly she become so fragile. She tries to hide it inside her own self, but i believe she is damn damn sad still. So now i jst try to make her happy and hope she can feel much better and just hear wat she wanna say. Very Happy I will be so happy to see her smile nowdays.
