Another fleet add for Sv 60? Wasn't 7500D a fleet add into Sv 60 just a few months back? still can fleet add mah... this one small case compare to Sv43 lah....

On second thoughts, 103 to Yishun Interchange via Seletar, Yishun Ave 1, Yishun Ave 6, Yishun Ave 9 to Yishun Int is not a bad idea at all. It can give people working along Seletar Airport a faster service to NSL with Yishun. Also connect Yishun Ave 6 w/ 3 new stops to Yishun Interchange (where the dorm & ITE college is). It will be a unique service connecting Serangoon, YCK Road, Jalan Kayu to Yishun as well.

For people living along Yishun Ave 6 and 9 can take this bus and also transfer at Seletar Circus on TPE than going to Yishun Int and taking a service to the east.

and it could loop at Serangoon area instead, need more inputs!

no.. just minor adjustment of frequency. no of slots still the same.. but not striking out the possibility of replacing SD with DD.

Doubt so as this svc plied so many other heartland areas. But it seems that there's one more BSEP svc slot wasted, thanks to the improper management of svc 190 by SMRT.

I am actually happy with the route. It at least does not mirror 190. Those who take LRT, 920/922 to BPJ to change to 190, can now get a direct service from their homes to Orchard.

6 November 2013 – A new bus service – Service 972 – will be launched from Sunday, 17 November 2013. The new service will provide better connectivity for commuters travelling between Bukit Panjang and the city. This is the 15th bus service launched under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).The new service will ply along Bukit Panjang Ring Road, Jelapang Road, Segar Road and Fajar Road before heading via Bukit Timah Expressway and Pan Island Expressway towards Whitley Road, Stevens Road, Orchard Road and Bencoolen Street. From Bencoolen Street, it will make its return journey to Bukit Panjang Town via Penang Road and Somerset Road.The service will enhance connectivity for residents in Bukit Panjang to key transport nodes such as Dhoby Ghaut, Somerset and Orchard MRT stations, where they can transfer to the other rail lines and bus services to reach their destinations.Vice President for SMRT Buses Ltd, Tan Kian Heong said: “Bukit Panjang Town is undergoing rapid development where many HDBs are scheduled for completion in the coming years. Service 972 will cater to these developments and serve as an additional option for Bukit Panjang residents going to city areas.”Bus Service 972 will operate daily (including public holidays) from 6am till 11.30pm.Passengers may contact SMRT Customer Relations Centre at 1800-336-8900 from 7.30am to 6.30pm on weekdays (excluding public holidays) or visit www.smrt.com.sg for more information on Service 972.Please refer to the attached poster for more details.

See first. Last time i said 951E low demand, when i took it, it has a really high demand till it was packed to the brim before going to SLE

i rather take this instead of LRT & MRT to orchard

it's like an "express" service from heartland to city
