I Really Need Your Advice! What Should I Do?

I met up with a girl on holiday who is mates with my friends from Dublin. During the 2 weeks, we spent most of our time together. We later, went to meet up with her and my friends from Dublin, again I spent most of my time with her. She came over from Ireland to Edinburgh to visit her sister who lives there, we met up (I live in Glasgow) and again we spent most of our time together. However, instead of me trying to pull her, I didn't have the guts to tell her how I felt, and while visiting her in Edinburgh, my cousin who was also on the holiday together and fully knowing my feelings for her pulled her!

So, do you think there was nothing go to happen with her in the first place or just an idiot who got himself needlessly hurt by not telling her his feelings?

I won't see her probably until January, but she may be moving to Edinburgh next year to go to university there!

So should I now tell her how I feel because I can't lose anymore (even with me not seeing her until January)? Or should I just leave it and forget about her?

Another problem is, I am almost 100% certain she overheard a conversation I was having with my friend about me liking her!

What should I do? How should I go about things? (If possible, could you answer in detail as this is very important to me)

The only thing that should be holding you back from expressing your feelings is yourself. Unless you are talking about her having a boyfriend - probably it may wise to avoid making things complicated (not always the case though). But this doesn't applies to your case. Rolling Eyes

You are 100% sure that she overheard a conversation with your friends and your crush is likely to know about your feelings for her. This is as good as a poor attempt of expressed feelings - don't you wish to add the things you haven't said or correct the points which you didn't meant it to be? Rolling Eyes

Why forget and leave things when you are in the process of letting her know? Expressing doesn't mean anything - it simply relieve the stress in your heart.

How to go about doing it? Everyone has their ways, but here's a mini guide:

I) Ambience: pick a good location/place where you will reveal your inner most feelings to her. The place where you express should contribute to the certain theme/ambience which you want to create. (Romantic, quiet, etc) Rolling Eyes

II) Planning - the choice of words, the content, etc. Its good to have a rough gauge on what you wish and want to say. Sometimes, planning on what you want to say can prevent unneccessary unclimatic situations from happening.

III) Preparation - Expressing your feeling doesn't guarantee you a relationship. You have to be emotionally and mentally prepared to respect whatever choice she made. Afterall, you can't force/pressurised someone to be with you yeah? Rolling Eyes
