Bus Diversion due to Marina Coastal Expressway

The Marina Coastal Expressway will be opening in 29 December 2013. In view of these, there will be changes to bus routes.

30: Will be rerouted via ECP, MCE and AYE.
502: Will be diverted as Bayfront Ave > Central Blvd > Marina Stn Rd > Marina Street > Marina Place > Marina Blvd > MCE > AYE >
513 (to Shenton Way): Will be diverted as ECP > Sheares Ave > Central Blvd >
513 (to Tampines): Will be diverted as Marina Blvd > Sheares Ave > ECP >
518: Will be diverted as Bayfront Ave > Marina Boulevard > Sheares Ave > ECP >
538, 539, 544, 545, 552, 553, 554, 566, 585: Will be diverted as ECP > MCE > Maxwell Rd.
NR1, NR6: ... > Keppel Rd > Anson Rd > Maxwell Rd > Marina Stn Rd > Central Blvd >

From the map at Wikipedia, it seems like Telok Ayer flyover is getting demolished? Because MCE merges straight into AYE on that map.

I understand what you mean...My previous post is actually a summary and the definite answer to that SBS3050L's post.

If MCE isn't DD-friendly, how can SBS Transit amend services 30 and 513 to ply MCE knowing that the demand for the route warrants DDs in their fleets?

Other services plying the Marina Bay Sands may be slightly affected though...not sure what it is referring to.

MCE got buses going past there, KPE other than the Tampines Road section, It is open for a couple of years no buses utilize the tunnel area of KPE from what i know off other than maybe off svc buses. Is KPE DD friendly?
