this is where filial piety has been used as a weapon...
so when does the responsibilities of a parent start? bringing a
child into this world in order to control the child's life is NOT a
parent's right... if they wanted something like that, they should
have built a robot, not produced a child!
so, the bigotry and the selfish wants of parents destroyed the
spirit and spine of their child.. and also destroyed the happiness
of the poor girl, not to mention the would-be bride...
where is filial piety in this?
filial piety is a whole lot of BS... if the child was brought up
right with the right values and morality, the parents would not
need to even talk about it.. and the child would have the spine to
stand up to them.. then, the parents would have succeeded...
now, it's an abject failure.. and look at the tragic
consequences...
SCREW filial piety! it has degenerated into a filthy
phrase...
