Marmalade Boy SG I was just wondering about something... Why is it when a girl/women finds a guy who is willing to go to the ends of the earth and do anything for them; they don't cherish and treasure the guy? But once it is lost or gone, then they come running back and doing anything to get him back in their life. Can anyone answer this question of mine? Thanks!
sillyme SG maybe u can try to answer this first.. why is it when someone does something for someone, he/she hopes that the person will be touched and have feelings for him/her? expect nothing in return

Marmalade Boy SG Maybe you are right that it doesn't really matter. But sometimes, it goes on and on till the extend that it seems like the person who is helping and caring doesn't matter. Its like only when she needs you then she calls or sms you or when she doesn't has anyone else to go out with then she calls or sms you. How would you feel? Although i would agree with you that you won't stop caring.
sillyme SG yes, it's a terrible feeling to be unappreciated.. then i think it teaches us to cherish the ppl around us.. i've been thru similar situations.. but eventually i learn how to just be happy because i made someone happy for actions.. that itself is a reward

choco B SG I doubt that there is an answer that can satisfy this question. Is it human nature to be selfish? To seek self gratification before anything else? To take things for granted once you are used to a situation? I believe it is human nature to look out for yourself first. That's the basis for survival. But someone who loves you and is worthy of your love will make an effort to rise above his/herself and make your well being and happiness a priority.
