Love is a four letter word and a state of mind and an emotion
which is hard to comprehend.
But does true love exists in this modern age. We read about how
people gave up everything for love, Romeo and Juliet but how many
of us are willing to do this?
Can we find someone who would stay with you even when you're down
and out, broke, unsuccessful and an emotional wreck?
How will we treat our bf/gf/fiance/fiancee/husband/wife when this
happens to them? Will we forsake them?
Some people married for money and treat their partners as economic
partners, some people married for business and political alliances,
and some married for propagation and survival of their genes and
continuing their family line. How many of us would marry someone
bcos we truly love them and will stay with them no matter what
happen to them (grow ugly, fat and old, become poor)?
Just some question to ponder on what the meaning of love has
evolved to in this modern era.
