"Valentine"

The day has come yet once again,
No fancy gifts but something plain.
As days go by, i hope you're mine,
Someone i can call my valentine.

I pray that you will come back soon,
Your embrace i'll wait under the clear blue moon.
Your silky hair under the moonlit shine,
don't leave me again this coming valentine.

I'll walk alone amidst the love-filled crowd,
every seconds comes a different doubt.
Serenading love songs being played aloud,
Sadly, that special girl i am without.

Why did i even go out today?
A million love spots i'll stay away.
I'm without valentine, do they even know
Come and go with my heart hung low.

Someone i loved didnt love me back,
a million calls made, she didnt give a heck
Why am i punished without a crime?
All i need is just a valentine...

A million places we could go
even those that are not real
Oh how our lives would intertwine
If I could just hold your hand in mine

A thousand photos we could take
with smiles so sweet they cant be fake
A ring for each of us I'd buy
to place on the fingers of yours and mine

A hundred kisses would be exchanged
My eyes light up when you are in range
The tenderness of your gentle touch
all thanks to a stroke of cupid's luck

A dozen roses you'd receive
as a pledge of love, as your birthday gift
to seal the promise I'll make to you
that I'll always be your lovestruck fool

A sincere heart is all I have
I'll let you keep it till my death
so much meaning you'd put into my life
If I could just hold your hand in mine

"Labour of Love"

There is no denial to how much i care,
how much i miss you when you're not there.
Your warm and tight embrace i can't get enough,
my unforgettable moment with you show my labour of love.

I cant imagine my life without you,
doing things now is impossible to do.
Loving you forever is my only craft,
you can expect more results from my labour of love.

Hands holding hands and lips meeting lips,
I'm sorry to say this but you're mine to keeps.
There will be no guy who will try to steal your heart,
coz i made a fortress around you thus stealing will be heard.

I expect no reciprocative feelings from you my dear,
coz i made my move on you with my heart full of fear.
Thus the courtship began from 1 month to 5,
Only then you smile emerged and u accepted me in your life.

Darling, i promise to never leave ur side,
my feelings would still stay even if i died.
Though i will miss your hug, smile and laugh,
The last thing i can ever give you is my labour of love. . . . . . .

"Getting Over"

I'll never seem to understand
why I love you so much
Why I stay up night after night
longing for your touch.

I'll never be able to explain
why I want you so bad
I'd give up practically everything
just to get back what we had.

If I could just have one more night
to have you whispering in my ear
To feel your arms around me
listening to the things I like to hear.

I can't help the fact that I love you
I can't really tell you why
after everything you've said and done
and how much you've made me cry.

If I could just have the courage
to really try to make things right
I want so bad for you to be
pulling me close and holding me tight.

I don't really understand
why you had to say goodbye
you told me that you'd always love me
I should have known it was a lie.

You let me fall in love with you
and you knew it at the time
and still you insisted on telling me
that you would always be mine.

Now the only thing I think about
is everything that you do
and the question I keep asking myself
is how can I get over you?

this is called "Forever"

The fragrance of an orchid
Wafting through the air,
Reminds me of another time,
And of a beauty rare.

The melodic strains of an orchestra
Sailing through the night,
Remind me of another time,
And of a lovely sight.

Associations such as these
Fill my thoughts with rhyme
And I can't help but long for
The poetry of another time.

A time when life made sense to me,
When love was everywhere;
When you and I would dance and dance
While your fragrance filled the air.

Such memories consume me,
And they constantly remind;
That you, my sweet, are in my heart
