Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly angry with
the revelations from Wayne Rooney's fiancee in the press this
week.
The Daily Mail says on Monday United's players endeavoured to hide
their amusement at front page newspaper articles in which Rooney's
fiancee spoke of her beau's teenage liaisons with Liverpool
prostitutes.
By all accounts United manager Ferguson was not best pleased, and
who can blame him? The timing of Coleen McLoughlin's book
serialisation was poorly timed on Monday, to say the least.
Ferguson dealt with the Rooney issue the way that he knows best
when he spoke to reporters at Lille airport yesterday.
"I haven't seen it," he growled. "I don't what you are talking
about." And with that he moved on.
