mikechp SG I need some advice. I met my girlfriend 4 months ago, when she just broke up with her boyfriend. We have also went throught alot of struggle between her ex-boyfriend’s persistence in getting her back. She had recently broke up with me cos her mother dislike me and also due to the fact tat the mother likes her ex-boyfriend alot. Her decision to break up with me is bcos she cannot handle her mothers nasty remarks on her and me. I don’t want to give her up so easily just bcos her mother don’t like me and when there is still love between me and her. She is trying not to love me and not think of me. I really wants her back. I really need some advice.
plain SG To say the fact, ur gf is the one that should be most pity among u and her mum. Imagine that she's now stuck between kinship and love... I can feel how she feels now... I understand that you love her a lot. Now i suppose what she needs is a moment of peace to calm herslf down. Yes.. like what you say her mum likes her ex a lot compared to you, but don't give up on making her opinion to change. Don't ever try saying nasty things to your gf about her mum too cus she will be very painful. Instead. maybe you can try improving ur relationship with her mum, the more she is nasty to you, the more you tolerate until one day she will realise your sincerity to her daughter. Every mum loves their kids, so she also wants the best for her daughter too isn;t that? therefore treat this as a test, a barrier for you and your gf. Once you two can break this barrier, you will know that happiness is not far from you yet it's coming closer... Trust me. Nothing counts more than a sincere heart...
sgboy2004 SG a real test not just for u, but for your gf as well... like wat plain has said, your gf is like sandwiched between u and her mum. But, the story may hav some more insights? Wat is her feelings for her ex now? HAs it rekindled bcos of her mum's insistence? Let her cool down a bit and then talk wif her...to c if she still loves u or has fallen back to her bf. mi wish u all the best. _____________ i am a chio lady Check for your smiley here
mikechp SG i haven’t even done anything….i haven’t even get a chance to talk to her mum yet. She just don’t like my appearance i guess….and furthermore…perhaps cos my gf or i sould say ex-gf’s ex-boyfriend is suffering from a depression and her mother has been contacting ever since their break up. Perhap the mother think i have contributed to tat guys depression..tat’s why she dislike me.
digicharat SG hmm.... how about.... you try to show her mum your good point? try and ask ur gf to let u 2 meet up. then... hur hur hur... bang your gf infront of her to show her that u can give her daughter happiness. every mum wants their daughter to find happiness 1 mah... this will definately work!
De|usi0n SG i hate mother like that. if u really cannot be 2gether with her, make sure u scold her mother for her doings.
Yunhaier SG The reason why is everything happening in such a way is because of you extremely bad timing in the picture. Look, you went with her when she just broke up with her boyfriend. Mum's mentally: The third-party guy who is came into the relation and ruin them. Secondly: You met her only 4 months ago and together so fast - this further reinforce her mum's thinking about you. Sorry but I feel that I have to say this: Your ex-gf is highly likely to be rather unstable from the previous relationship and *IF* because of that, you seize the chance and chase her - it is likely that she may not even like you as much. Even if you were to all along the third party, are you *sure* she really likes you because of who you are - and not... I) A good excuse to shake her ex off? II) A subsitute? III) An entertainment for her routine relation? How long is she with her boyfriend? Noticed that she gave up so easily when her mum blasted at her about you - a good clue and hint in where you stand in her heart. Advice? It is best you date her out one day and really speak about everything you feel about this relation and possible complication, etc. It is useless trying to avoid, or making wrong decision over and again. You need to talk and speak with her. Don't assume. Cheers
mikechp SG Thanks Yunhaier for yr advice…ok the fact is I having been chatting with her for almost 1 month b4 we met up…and at that time her relationship with her ex-bf has already turned sour… and she is already thinking about leaving him. She also said that my appearance only speeds up her break up process.
the Bear SG Bad timing.. I guess both can just stay friends for a while? In the meantime, communication is vital. Be her best friend without being pushy. Be there for her if she needs a shoulder to cry on, someone to be supportive of her. If it was meant to be, who knows? Maybe she'll grow to love you and your sincerity will move even her pushy mom? Good luck
mikechp SG yah…tat’s wat we r doing now…though we can’t chat on the phone..we still try to chat online. Thanks everybody for yr advices…really appreciates it.
Yunhaier SG You admitted that your appearance speed up the process - but have you ever realise that you may (and is quite likely) to be a substitute? Only 1 month! Futhermore you said only 1 month before you both *met* up. You mean you got to know her from IRC, ICQ sort of thingy? (Correct me if I am wrong). Conclusion: You are likely to be a pawn in this game. Please be cautious and never look just at the surface. There is more than meets the eye. Cheers
