Wild_Cow SG i have same problem... i have no trouble going overseas and supporting myself excpet that my parents wont allow me to leave.. but if he really love her he should go ....afterall its hard to find someone that is compatible...
sgboy2004 SG do all these overseas thing when u still can, esp when u are still young... as much as u wanna be wif her, there is no gaurantee in anything. Mi advise is to go out and look at the world, it is so different from Sg, realli an eye opener...mi went a few countries for short studies and find them veri useful in mi perspective, and to c sg in a different light. the world is not just sg onli. explore, mi friend
Ave SG Things will change, but like they said, if it's meant to be it will be I came to Canada two years ago and i think something funny started happening with her, the rest is predictable and it fell to pieces. Of course the one going away has to consider if it's fair to make the other wait for him/her.. but case by case basis lah. Just try, and it the relationship lasts so much the better for your future

kopiosatu SG nowadays couples so lucky, have email... so fast, last time have snail mail... but frankly i find a handwritten letter more sincere/romantic
*AnnA Ev.* SG yah.....right...havnt seen my bf alreadi for 5 months ....but comumicate thrue email/icq/phone so often.....then feel the distance less.....
kohanson SG yah, can even use webcam and microfone to communicate with each other.. that's even more high tech and cheaper than calling, and you also get to see the face too.
FireIce SG i keep in contact with my overseas frens on ICQ due to the timezone difference, they always here to keep me company when i staying up to pia my work.....

tiger beer SG same as mi loh!my bf went oversea study! some more my case is he have a very close poly classmate n the person is a gal! they study in the same country but difference city! he got go n visit her oso i ever hear she anwser my bf's hp we got talk on the phone coz i oso know her my bf intro 2 me! i got ask a lot of people they all say juz take it easy loh coz wat will happen tolomo we all dun know 1. u oso can check i ever post in the forum b4.
