Be a little bit less inhibited and more open-minded to other people's opinions on stuff. Have a bubbly personality and practise the art of small talk and idle chit chat.... you don't have to look gorgeous.

In terms of looks, just dress to suit your figure... don't dress up to current trends, know what you can or cannot look good in. That'll should make you an ideal hanging-out companion.

Difference between Ms Pretty but no Personality and Ms Avg but with charm ... is that both get asked out, but only one gets asked out because people are interested in spending the day talking to her..
