Hi, as you guys know, the WorldCup is about to end. And I have been actvely involved in soccer betting, but my bets are normally not more than $200. And at the same time, a friend of mine also bet with me, and he have lost $3000++, when I confronted him for payment(as my bookie demands it), he play bastard and refused to pay. I even tried calling his home and telling all his family members about it, but all of them refuse to help him pay off his debts. The deadline given by the bookie is the end of June, I am still a student now, how am i supossed to come out with $3000 within such a short 'grace' period. Please help. THX

Ps: Anyway, I have no intention of paying the bookie lor, how am I going to do abt it? Is there any way that i can make that bastard friend of mine pay up? I dun wish any violence be involed. THX

1.tell the bookie u don't have so much money and that u will pay during your NS peroid where you can get the money.

2.give something valueble to the bookie and claim it back with cash later

Not sure if this would work, but you can try...?

1. Try all means to get back to your friend(?)
2. Feedback the bookie about this friend of yours (if you think he's no longer worth the friend)
If you're the one who borrowed the $ directly from the bookies and they know nothing about your friend? GOOD LUCK to you....
3. Let the bookie understand that there's no way you can pay up (and only your friend can?) if they don't buy the story about your friend....
4. File a police report and tell the whole story to them... Also let the people around you know just in case anything happens to you?

You can try not to mention the illegal betting part? Don't think the bookie would like to mention that they're bookie too...? Just make a police report and KIV that some people threaten your life...

Most probably issue you with warning... Can bring you back to the station for police statement and questioning too...?

Expected. They're bookies, NOT charity... Even the court would tell you almost the same thing....

I guess for now you should just try to get the $$$ back from your friend still by other means... And if you're really not paying up... Just BE CAREFUL? Good luck....

Well too bad, they decided not to have any rematch after all these kelong! So there is only 2 match left.
And since you are a student I think you had to work part-time loh, just to make some money, hopefully you can paid those bookie as soon as possible, but not sure your job can earn enough to even pay the INTEREST. Sad

If you had a website or homepage try join some affiliate program that can generate enough income for you, that how my brother pay the $4000++ to me in 5 months time after he lost his job last year. although he found a new job now, he still carry on these affiliates program till today. At least it help to pay off his HP bill and installment monthly that what i heard. Now he drive bigger car than me and bet more heavy in world cup than the whole family.

Well! some say these WORK FROM HOME business won't work, I though so when he started, but it did after some hard work of course from him.

The choice is yours, you have nothing to loose, if you work hard I am sure you can settle your problems soon.
