Xiaolu is a young lady who lives happily everyday, and in the
company, everyone likes her. One day, a young man joined her
company and that man was also called lu (his surname but thats how
ppl address him). so xiaolu was uneasy abt it, as she was so used
to ppl callign her lu too! so, on several occassions, when ppl
called "Lu", both of them will turn their heads.. ppl in the
companies start to tease them abt this, and Lu actually called
xiaolu to change her name! of cos' it was a joke, but since that
day, he called her "lu tai", meaning that the wife of Lu ( no
special meaning, prob saying that she is v auntie like?).. so Lu
and Lu tai started to be friends rather than colleagues, going out
for dinners after work.. soon, they were together. things were
going v fine for them, and soon, they were together for 4
years.
among these 4 years, there were 3 years where they lived together.
marriage is not something that they want to avoid, but it was just
that Lu was getting too busy with his work. every year, he gets
promoted. every year, his pay increases, and he has less and lesser
time to spend with xiaolu. but xiaolu doesnt mind, as she
understands that Lu just want to earn more money so that they can
lead a better life in the future when they settled down.
one day, Xiaolu was not feeling well, so she went to the doctor.
she was shocked when the doctor told her that she was pregnant! she
wanted to abort this baby, as she didnt want Lu to feel pressurised
and marry her just for the baby. thoughts were going in her mind.
however, she felt that since he is the father of this child, he
says the right to know that she is pregnant. so, she decided to
tell him once she returned to the office that day...
he was as busy as usual, and went he walked out of his room, xiaolu
whispered into his ears: " I am pregnant..."
guess what Lu's response was? he was overjoyed and shouted out to
the whole office: " MARRY ME Lu Tai!!!" he hugged her and the whole
office was cheering and clapping, sharing their joy...
xiaolu was very happy that lu proposed to her and that he was
overjoyed abt her pregnancy.. xiaolu felt loved and finally, she is
going to marry the man she loves most..
the wedding has to be carried out asap before xiaolu's stomach
start to be significant.. therefore, she quitted her job to do the
preparations for the wedding as Lu was too busy to handle such
matters...
Lu and xiaolu both have dreams of being their own bosses, setting
up a company of their own. so they were saving up all these years,
and they have decided to start their own business after their
marriage.
their boss knows abt their intentions of starting their own
business too, but he wanted Lu to help him in one last big business
with a major client before he leaves the company. he agreed. and
the boss gave them a very very big ang pow for their marriage and
also to help them finacially for their new company..his boss gave
them a ang pow of $10,000 dollars!!!!! and therefore he worked v v
v hard to come out wif ideas for his proposal and also not to
disappoint his boss.. everyday, he will work till 6am then he
drives home, and every night, xiaolu will bring dinner to his
office to dine wif him.. it was tough, but he assured her that this
is the last time he is doing this as they will be bosses of their
own company v soon..
so, everyday, Lu works more than 16 hours everyday, and he started
to smoke more and more.. while on the other hand, xiaolu was busy
preparing for their wedding.. every morning, xiaolu will look at
him falling asleep, and she was so loved. she can't wait for the
day where she will be officially the wife of Lu.
so, Lu worked for v long hours everyday, for a continous of one
whole week without resting.. finally, he finished the whole
project.. and finally he could go home and rest!!! hwoever, it is
only less than 36 hours to his marriage!
xiaolu and him has already made plans. he will come home and rest
first, and she will proceed to the hairdresser and prepare herself
first, and when she finishes, he will come and pick her up to the
hotel for the dinner.
that morning, xiaolu woke up v early as she was too excited.. she
watched him sleepign soundly, and couldnt bear to wake him up to
tell him that she is leaving the house already.. so she left the
house w/o disturbing him...
that afternoon, xiaolu was all ready but Lu still wasnt there to
fetch her.. she called her house, but he didnt picked up. she
called his hp, but he didnt picked up too.. she was worried.. she
told herself, Lu will never leave her in the lurch.. she noes that
he will come.. and they were get married happily..with blessings
from the relatives and frens.. she waited and waited...
she decided to go to the hotel herself. all the frens and relatives
started to arrive but there is still no signs of Lu and his
family.. she was really worried..
then she received a call from Lu's family..
"XiaoLu, Lu died in his sleep.. he didnt wake up when we woke him
up, and we brought him to the doctor and was pronunced dead.. the
doctor said his death was due to exhausion.."
her heart dropped.. every relatives and frens who heard the stories
cried.. their eyes were red..
however, xiaolu told herself to be strong, and she wants to bring
this child and gives him lots of love as this child is the last
gift from Lu...
hmm, i heard this story over the radio. it is 100% real. felt v
upset upon listening to it, so decided to share this story.. if you
are the main character in this tory, hope u will not feel offended
as i believe you do not mind your story being known as it has
already been broadcast over the radio...sorry for the grammatical
