i m not veri sure tis stat is accurate anot...i lazy to search in chelseafc.com..is either lampard or ballack in chelsea...but if i m jose..i will choose lampard....

ghimpheng SG

the forumers here don't seems to understand how good is Frank Lampard

dragg SG

whatever i posted is just an opinion.

if chelsea want to stick with lampard, even forever, is fine.

dragg SG

you are comparing lampard to ballack. i am not. i dont think ballack is doing well either. with chelsea's wealth i am surprised they have midfielders like ballack and lampard.

lalaTearz SG

ballack in poor form…lampard form is average…but they r still world class players….mayb u r not chelsea fan =) so i doubt u will praise lampard….n i feel tt chelsea haf too much players in the same position…like essien lampard ballack..geremi ferreria glen johnson…unlike benitez..he like to play players out of position…

dragg SG

hahaha. someone said i support chelsea because i keep praising them.

every team has good and bad players.

even good players have bad days.

lampard is popular only because he scored a lot of goals last season. on top of that, he is british. a lot of players, especially british, are over-rated.

Urroh SG

anyway i feel lampard only shoot on sight mostly.. you can count how many long range shooting he does in a match.. his assist is getting lesser.. its true.

But he is still a good player.

JusStatic SG

Of course Fabio has won more trophies than J.M because he is older.

An older person surely will have eaten more rice than a younger one, such a comparison should not have been made .

But indeed Real and Barca are no easy teams to manage Neutral

MingFreeman SG

Gerrard pawns lampard anytime everytime.

If Sheva was playing in front of Giggs, Ronaldo, Scholes or the liverpool midfield, he will be scoring freely already, instead of suffering now.

coldzero SG

LoLs! Lampard's goal-scoring ability beats Gerrard flat. But true, Chelsea's mid-field dont suit Shevchenko.

lalaTearz SG

chelsea midfield like to attack…lampard ballack essien makelele r not playmakers…kaka pirlo seedorf r playmaker…they create chances for others…

stellazio SG

not another gerrard vs lampard comparison pls. they might both be attacking midfielders, but their styles are very different.

ghimpheng SG

Lampard is not playmaker ? you serious ?

Kaka is playmaker ? i doubt he is ! he is more of a dribbler instead of a playmaker just like Ronaldo

coldzero SG

Lampard used to be a playmaker, but I doubt he is now. And YA, Kaka IS a PLAYMAKER.

lpx88 SG

Im very sure. Lampard plays more like a striker rather than a midfielder with all the long shots.

stellazio SG

what? a dribbler can't be a playmaker?? then what about ronaldinho and zidane?

ghimpheng SG

i never said that dribbler can't be a playmaker =/ Rolling Eyes

lalaTearz SG

nope..i dun think lampard is a playmaker…he attack more den he create chances for others….whereseas zidane ronaldinho kaka…create chances more den they shoot…lampard did lots of assists…but mostly thru set pieces…

OO_OO_OO SG

if mourinho leaves, it'll be back to claudio ranieri days where chelsea were everything but champions.

abramovich is damn stupid.

mourinho is a great manager.. better than SAF in my opinion.
