i've got quite a few experiences myself on such things...
but tis is the most so-called memorable one
tis happened when i was in OBS singapore at pulau ubin last
time...
we had a land expedition on the 2nd last day
and we had to trek around the island looking for checkpoints before
reaching our destinated campsite (i forgot the campsite name)
b4 the expedition, we double checked everything we had to bring and
was ready
we brought 2 compasses and a map...(dun wanna go into the other
items..cos they r not related to the 'experience' hehe)
we set off and after hours of trekking we finally reached out
campsite...
we pitched our tents and get ready for dinner
double checked again on out equipment and everything is fine
after dinner,i went off and find my frens from other groups and
stayed at their tent to chat with them, while the malays in my
group stayed in my group's tent
after a while the malays in my group kinda like rush out of the
tent and they pass by me
of cos...being kaypo i asked them wat happened, they say got dogs
lah!!
i jus laughed at them.
the nxt day, we were packing up and gonna trek back to OBS campsite
...we found out tat 1 of the compass is missing, we searched high
and low and found nuttin...we decided to pay for the missing
compass.
walking back...i ask my fren again about the 'dog' thingy..he
admitted tat he lied and said tat one of his fren shone his torch
on the tress nearby and they saw a black figure jumping around the
treetops and landed on the ground. It then moved towards them and
of cos they ran away lah! after tat they saw the figure lying
inside of the tent.
i scolded them for their 'stupidity' heheeh
Back at OBS campsite...my friend and i was the first to enter our
group's bunk...
and when my fren opened his closet, we saw the missing compass
there...
goddammit...i tell u man...we were kinda like shivering...
well ...at least we dun have to pay...
