Childrens Cancer Foundation
6th Tulip Hearts Day
1 & 2 September 2001
The Children's Cancer Foundation Tulip Hearts Day is
here again! Established in 1996, it is a special day
we set aside to Remember Children with Cancer.
In conjunction with the 6th Tulip Hearts Day, we wish
to promote better public awareness on Childhood Cancer
in Singapore. It is also the time, we seek your
support to help raise the necessary funds for us to
continue with the work we do, for these
cancer-stricken children and their families.
This year we aim to raise at least S$300,000, from 2
fund-raising events organised by CCF across the first
weekend of September. They are :
(A) 1st Sept 2001 : Childrens Cancer Foundation
Celebrity Golf Classic @ Changi Golf Club.
(Attachment 1- Registration Form).
We need the support of corporate and individual donors
to come forward in participation of the above
celebrity golf classic. Together with junior players
from the Asia Junior Golf Academy, celebrity golfers
such as Gurmit Singh, Fandi Ahmad, David Lim, Mark
Richmond, just to name a few will be there to play
fore the children of CCF.
(B) 2nd Sept 2001 : Tulip Hearts Day - Sales of
Flowers (Attachment 2 Registration Form)
In Tulip Hearts Day tradition, we target to sell
75,000 silk tulips @ minimum S$2.00 each on Sunday 2
September 2001. Apart from buying a tulip, we will
need your help as a volunteer in the following areas:
1) Tulip tagging
Volunteers are needed to help tag the CCF logo onto
the silk tulips.
Tagging will be held on 28/29 July and 4/5 Aug.
Venue: Inland Revenue House (opposite Novena MRT)
Please reply by 20 July 2001
2) Tulip selling
Tulip sales will be held on 2 September.
Volunteer sellers are needed
Volunteers must be age 18 & above.
Please reply by 20 August 2001
Due to a quota for volunteer numbers in each session,
to avoid disappointment, please register with us
early. Your contribution will help make a difference!
