There are ways u can protect the bike, buy disk brake lock,
install alarm, find a parking lot that is well lit or is on the
second level directly facing a HDB unit or if u are really kiasu
and kiasee, find a lot that is closest to a concrete pillar, buy a
heavy duty chain + heavy duty locks (super kiasee can buy multiple
chains and locks) then chain ur bike to the concrete pillar
everytime park bike.
