Pros: 1) Sporty looking
2) very enjoyable to ride
3)can sup corner well
4)Lightweight

Cons: 1)Gear shifters moved to the back, hard to use foot select gear.
2)A bit taller den Phantom

Phantom 150

Pros: 1)Got power cuz its 2 stroke engine
2) Very stable
3)Low seat height. good for new riders
4)Even more comfy den NSR

Cons:1) Heavy
2)People see it as an "Uncle" bike
harder to squeeze through traffic.

So how?

recommend a gd transport bike, suzuki GN125, dun expect speed coz can reach 80km/h(max) wif pillion. beri safe range of travelling in sg Mr. Green

Anyway.. any NSR riders here find difficulty shifting gears (when u first bought it) on your bike?

The reversed (and angled downwards) gear shifters seem kinda awkward for a new rider to use..

yes.. i even saw newbie riders having just bought their nsrs from the alexandra village, turn out to the junction and buang liao.

it needs some getting used to.. but after that its routine.

Don't worry on that. It might seem awkward, but have you tried riding one? It's angled downwards on purpose, to suit your riding position. It's actually designed to ease the rider when shifting gear.

Even if you're not used to it, just give yourself one or two days to familiarize yourself with the bike, shifting gears will be a breeze then.

2)open throttle a bit
3)kick the kickstarter

im riding a sp, my bike usually wun take more den 3 kicks to start, even when the engine is freezing cold

last time noob, open n kick at same time, kick 100 times oso cannot start.

in army learn how to push start

so i push start my bike in the carpark
