I am totally clueless about bike. However, I am addicted to machines and looking to own an exotic sport bike to add to my garage. So I wonder how much would it cost to own a brand new and fairly top end Ducati (999 series maybe) in Singapore including registration and license. Do you think 50 000 is enough?

It would be easier for me to visit the showroom however I am in overseas. Thanks in advance

If you can, get your hands on the 916 Senna or a 998R… the 999 seems to be…not quite what the Ducatis were about.. The whole feel about it is different.

The whole feel? I am probably not going to ride the bike. I am just going for the look. Now it would just be a vase thats all. I kinda like the 999R.

Does the 999R have carbon-finished chassis? Is the 999R still in production? Do you know how much is it going to cost? Do you think it will cost more than 100 000 SGD ? Since the 998R is priced at 22000USD (and generally the price would inflate 5 times when it reaches Singapore).

Sorry, the Ducati website is a little confusing for me to toggle around.

A yr or two ago,went to the Ducati showroom n asked the price for a 916(they only have 2nd hand). It costs 10 grand for a 5 yr old bike…

its not actually abt oooh its expensive...i wanna get it....interest soon dies out....

i kinda like the 998r though although my fave 2 is still the monster s4r and the 1000ds..

everyone gets out of the way when a desmo engine comes thundering down the road...a definite head turner

I'm guessing the 999R will cost about 100k. Have you checked out the MV Agustas yet? Those are gorgeous too! The 999R...and the carbon-finished chassis....erm, I don't quite understand what exactly you're referring to.. If it's the body panels (fairings) you're referring to, those are carbon fibre.
