Ha!
If all bikes form up, left, right, left, right, two by two, like
they are taught during training, the queue at traffic lights will
be super long.
Further more, do you notice the first car waste 1 second of the
green light before moving off, and the second car takes 2 seconds,
and the third car.......this is precisely the reason why
Singaporean drivers developed the habit of honking immediately when
the light turns green.
I don't like squeezing between cars, and I don't while traffic is
moving.
But when traffic stops, and there is sufficient space between
vehicles, I will move as far ahead as I can. Too many times, while
following properly behind vehicles, I get 2 red lights before I
clear the junction.
Now whenever all vehicles have stopped. I squeeze up to the
front.
It is not a good thing to do, but heck you clear that congestion
faster, and you breath in less fume.
