Hi guys,
First off, sorry if this isn't a very 'high-speed low drag' type of
topic.
I am looking to buy a sub-125cc motorcycle/scooter within the next
month or so. Now, whilst shopping around for a 2nd hand bike, i get
the impression that most cheap small cc bikes are using 2-stroke
engines. Correct me if i am wrong, but it has come to my attention
that such engines require you to manually mix oil with petrol when
refueling. My question is:
How do you premix the fuel? Do you have to bring a measuring jug
(dun laugh, i do not have a clue) to the petrol station when you
want to refuel?
Thanks in advance for your help. I am really really confused.
Help!
Edit: Also, any info on sccoters/motorcycles that are cheap to run,
low maintainence, and are cheap to insure greatly appreciated. No
Sport Bikes though; they are very expensinve to insure!
I am currently split between getting an automatic scooter and a
proper bike with gears, etc. My concern is not being able to keep
up with traffic when i visit nearby cities!
Note also that i am in a country with all 4 seasons. So i would
need a bike that can be ridden in winter.
