IU UNIT

WITH the technology nows days ... i think lta should wake up their ideal,
and change bikes iu unit to a smaller one , not same as cars !!! wanna get
some respond here and throw a e-mail to today new paper ... hope
they published ...

wat u guys think about the iu unit ?? should bikes have the same unit
as cars ? or a smaller and slimer one at least ... or at least to be fair to de
car drivers , change to a smaller and slimer one for both car and bikes ...

pls reply i wanna see wat u guys got to say ...

hmmmm my IU unit has a nice sticker on it... Laughing if its smaller i can't paste the sticker anymore!

Its about time the IU unit is hidden under the dash-board.
A sensor or antenna or transponder on the car roof communicate with the readers at the ERP gantries.
Motor-cycles should have similar devices.
I once saw a classic design motor-cycle, DragStar I think, without an IU.
I guess the owner do not want to spoil the look of his classic.

Some riders put their IUs under their seats (may it be pilllion seat or rider seat) so as to prevent their cashcards from being stolen, and some vain riders don’t want to spoil the look of their bikes…

not only for bikes...even for cars....

the stoopid IU unit is a lousy invention....makes us carry an additional cash card just to use with it.... why don't they just incorporate the EZ-Link card and the Cash Card...afterall, these 2 cards can also be used to pay for other purchases like at NTUC, 7-11, school canteens, some foodcourts etc...

surely we dun need to carry so many cash-bearing type of cards.... and pay all that deposit for the cards somemore!!!

LTA should do with just 1 card!!!!
