I am one of the uncles who ride a Phantom.
Its definitely not for racing.
And I like it.
Yes it is very low maintenance.
No problem since I bought a new one 3 years ago. Only changed rear
brake pad.
Though it is time I change the spark plugs, I have not done so,
because I never had trouble starting the bike all these 3
years.
Only advice I can give regarding Phantom is to get one from an
authorised Honda agent that gives after sales service.
Avoid the shops that parallel imports the Phantom.
Phantoms come with strange noises, that gets you uncomfortable, but
is usually no problem, but an authorised agent would be helpful
there.
