Honda Class 2A bikes

NTUC Income Online quotation for Motorcycles has the following remarks:

With effect from 15th February 2003 we will not be accepting new proposals for the following vehicles:
a. following motor cycle models :

Yamaha(RXZ)
Honda CB 400
CB400 Super 4
CB 400 V-tec
CBR400RR
Honda NV 400
NV 400CT (Steed)
NV 400CS (Shadow)
Honda(RVF400)

Their rep gives high accident rate as the reason.

Any truth to that?

I Know lah.

Is it because the bikes are unsafe.
Or
They are passing some business to other ins co.

I don't accept the high accident rate reason. because accident is due to the human species, not the make of the machine.

Maybe new class 2A holder is making up the number of accidents

High accident rate, why? because many people ride it. especially the super four which is a black marked bike.

So the reason they give is just bull, cuz i guess the higher execs of the company dun even ride at all.

I have lobang for honda 2A bikes with NTUC... I went thru a NTUC insurance agent who managed to appeal for me. I am riding Super 4 and the insurance is under my dad's name, my insurance is only $217, after rebate is $206. If it's under my name, it'll be around $600-$700.

However, it's easier to appeal when you had not claimed your own insurance before.

I want to get a Super 4 too, but do not want to change Ins Co. because I have so far made no claims with NTUC Income.
