I have a Honda scramber CRM 125 going for yearly inspection.
Can't go on my own bcoz when I got the bike in 1995 (3 months old),
it has modified 'Answer' exhaust and original exhaust lost
liao.
My mechanic now charge me $90/- for guaranteed pass during
inspection. But he never change any parts. He says the $90/- is
inclusive of 'kopi' money...but I do not believe him that
inspection officer take bribes. I believe he tows the bike to LTA
on his tow truck and give some crap reason (eg. this bike is under
repair waiting for parts).
Is $90 expensive? Anyone can recommend me any bike shop where they
do guaranteed inspection pass for a lesser fee? The insurance and
road tax I can settle easily.
