About Malaysia Gas Station

I've top up my gesoline in Johor bahru in past few weeks.
and I've found that gasoline run out very fast, it seems
10-20% faster than Singapore gesoline. I'm not sure whether
it is due to the vendor change the meter, or my bike engine
has it own problem.
In the other hand, I know that in China, some gas station
put some chemical material in the gasoline, so that it will
sold in higher price, like 92 can changed to 97, but this will
demage the carburator of some cars and bikes. (Not all)
Does anyone have the same experience to share? Which
gas station brand is trustworth

For me, I make it a point not to pump at the petrol station (Caltex) at JB before reaching the custom. I think the petrol not so good.

I personally saw the petrol attendant just take the petrol from the pump and put inside his motorbike! Then he put pour something back to the pipe at the underground container.

I ask my Malaysia what is it and he say it could be kerosine! Very bad for engine! Crying or Very sad

I heard that petroleum sold in M’sia is imported from the middle east because cheaper but quality not so good. The petroleum produced by M’sia will be exported because of its superior quality and higher price. That’s why petrol in M’sia so cheap.

Well I think most of the observation is pretty baseless.
Malaysian petrol is "cheap" because it is heavily subsidised by their government. So need not complain too much if our friends in the north give U petrol at half the price.
BTW, kerosene is more expansive than petrol, so make no economic sense replacing petrol with kerosene, diesel/water probably Mr. Green

crude oil is all the same regardless from middle east or brunei darusalam... it's how well it's refined.

yea i agree. kerosene is used as fuel in jet turbine engines and afterburners for fighter jets by the way.

Are you sure? My geography teacher told me that Malaysia's petroleum has lower sulphur content, so it's better.

Well…my frens n i find dat M’sia petrol can actuali last longer milage. especially esso. patronas gi more power bt less milage. ofcoz, I belif dat 1 had to service the bike more often if u use m’sia petrol coz ix kind of more”dirty” in comparision to Sg petrol
