Owning 2 bikes?

Guys, need to ask u something.

I currently own a Yamaha RXK just for transport purposes. Can only afford this at the moment coz on NS allowance only.

Once I ORD, I'm going to take my 2A and then considering to buy a 2A bike. If I wanna keep my 2B bike as a "back-up" bike, I understand I need to pay HDB parking for it. But will I need to pay seperate insurance for it as well??

bike insurance is for that specific bike only. its covers the bike n follows the bike not the owner. u nid seperate insurance n road tax n stuf…

hi man, why do u need two bikes in the first place?
even if u can save on petrol, u have to pay two road tax, parking, double maintainence and insurance plus u can only use one bike at a time....

HrMm.. quite true. Maybe I'll use the RXK for a while.. build up my financial health first before I sell it off for a 2A bike.

honestly owning a 2a bike really isn’t that expensive… ur insurance u are paying for a 2b bike is almost the same as a 2a bike insurance…

be careful, some people buy 2a bike, then when they get class 2 licence... they gian for class 2 bike... Cool

hrMm.. true true. Aiyo.. dunno whether I should wait till I get Class 2 then buy my dream R6 or to get a Super 4 or RVF to "thong" for a few years first.

think there is no need for 2 bikes?
i had a friend who owned 5 bikes at one time once...
he suddenly realised he cannot ride all 5 bikes at e same time... so he got rid of 4.
anyway hes driving a road king now.
