Is this a problem?

hi, i’m in the process of buying a new bike. presently, i am leaning towards the rs125. however, i’m a short person..and i could only touch the floor with the tips of my toes while sitting on that rs125 seat. I had a great test ride and all, but i haven’t had much road experience so i’ve to ask u guys – is this a big problem? or should i ask the mech to lower the seat height (if that’s possible), maybe tweaking with the suspension or something…?

Dont think its good to lower the suspension. Will change the weight distrbution of the bike. No need to worry about the height problem, as long u can stop during traffic light can already. Maybe shift ur body a bit or slant the bike a bit, see some ppl doing that. U will get use to it. It wont be a prob when u on the move liao.

for me is diff…lowering the suspension i think is moer stable when u comes to a corner…too high will be a danger the best thing is that u can get a suitable height for youself atleast u can react beta….

lower the suspension would caused the bike to rub the road hump… I understand tat rs125 is quite low already.

really ar, will scrape humps? is there anything else i can tweak to make it lower?

then if with only my toes on the ground, won't it be very hard to push the bike arnd if i'm on it? must i get down to push it?

am i too short for the rs? (i'm 163 cms tall)

If u really keen on rs, my opinion is go 4 it. It is ok with jus toes touching as 2 hold the bike upright. If u wan to push, GET OFF to push!

I only heard of accident when moving, not stopping. BTW, are you still growing taller?

you buying first hand RS125 or second hand?? first hand one cost about 10k if i not wrong.. damn bloody rich.. for a 2B bike can spend 10k liaoz.. think that's what he means.. haha..

orh.. maybe buying new coz i think i’ll be riding this bike 4 the next few years until i can get a car (coz i’m so damn short) and i think i won’t be getting a bigger bike ….. tried a 250cc before.. too heavy sometimes stop got prob.

hi man, me riding RS125 also... i do find it quite heavy when the bike is not in motion, just wanna advise u to becareful of the weight cos i did drop my bike before while parking and i can touch the ground with both feet...
