got it at just below $500...RS2
these tyres are good for people who like tyres similar to the
BT010...it's got a neutral feel and corners with the slightest
lean...at times, it feels like it wants to corner all on its own...

this does feel weird at times especially on the highways when you
are trying to go staright... the tyre profile makes you wanna ride
at an angle to the road, cos there is where the tyre performs its
best.
the RS2 tyre is super sticky, but not extremely great for everyday
road rides cos it doesn't heat as much as it should (as compared to
to on the track) so it tends to pick up more crap than a standard
road compound tyre.... in wet weather (like what we are having
recently), it works surprisingly well for a cut slick, but DUN push
or lean too hard into a turn.... the slick edges tend to aquaplane
.. i had a nice front end slide across one lane at 40km/h during
the rain... reminded me of my mortality....
at the tracks... the tyres inspire you to push your limits in the
corner... making you take corners at higher lean angles and higher
corner speeds....yet without the fear of losing the front end....
rear tyre slides pretty predicatably when pushed hard....
really good at soaking up bumps along the track.... but tends to
want to stand-up when you are on the brakes in the corner.... great
flickability through turns...
tyre wear is pretty good...ridden about 2000-3000km (inclusive of
2hours of track) so far... tyre is still good for another hard
track day....but i guess the tyre wear would depend on your won
riding style...
it's the 2nd race compound tyre i've used and in my opinion,
possibly the best tyre so far.... next up for me to try would be
the pirelli supercorsa... should be the same as the rennsport...
but i wanna know for myself instead of relying too much on other
people's info....
if money is no option, why not try the Michellin Pilot Race? read
about it in mags.....
