all along i was pumping malaysia caltex for my sp, then once decided to pump malaysia v-power, then when got home , as 2t finsihing so i top up , left a bit abt 1 cap i pour into my oil tank, and after riding i reliase my millage got more, last time abt 180 never on reserve,
now more then than, after pumping v-power 2 times, the second time used onli half tnak, i gone 170km!!??, i myself was shock, and pumped full again without testing total can go how far,really feel funny, and is it true tat the upper half of the fuel meter is veri lasting , but when come to the lower haf of fuel gauge, like seems to finsih upfaster?? wat u all tink?

I dont ride SP, how is the shape of the tank like then u think urself lor. Maybe the top part of the tank wider and rounder thats y more petrol at that part mah. But ur riding pattern affects alot also.

True. It's due to the shape of the petrol tank. When your gauge shows half full, your tank actually contains less than half of its full capacity.

V-power indeed gives more mileage....but dun think so much diff like u say.....
as for the tank thing.....for car it sure is 1st half more lasting no matter how the tank looks like....
like my car now the tank upper portion is smaller but still 1st half more lasting.......should be the sensor position thats count and not the tank shape......dunno bout bikes.....

ya...but the sudden big increase in millage veri funny leh, increase in abt 60-70, all along b4 the sudden increase, haf tank i gone abt 100, now 170, Confused

u should go try full tank.....think full tank diff should be less than 50
