Drogba is damn good

kog SG

Very Happy too bad they were in the Group of Death during World Cup, they sure are one of the best African teams.

u have a good striker is no use, the overall team must be there or thereabout to support mah.

a good striker without the support of strong midfielders or having a leaky defense will equal to naught. this is why the strongest team wins and not the strongest players.

Brazil is brimming with mega stars but they still bowed out becos they are not that efficient as a team...same as Ivory coast, Drogba is a good player, but he alone cannot propel the team to glory if the rest is mediocre. We see Giggs as a good player but the overall Wales team is not good...the list goes on.

i felt that ivory coast had a good team. just that they’re tactically naive and inexperienced on the big stage. alot of hardwork and some bits of skill here and there too. but just tactically not aware.

How you define good? Strikers always get the credit wan, hey, their JOB is to score goal.

Did you see how England's 18 year old Micah Richards perform last nite?

Robben scared of him leh...you can see.

Move over, Neville.

dragg SG

all the african teams have the same problem.

the players want a lucrative contract in europe. so they always try their best to shine at the expense of their team-mates.

the result?

players dribbling and shooting from impossible angles!!!

that much is obvious during the world cup.

scare ? that total crap

rojak12 SG

Robben not just scared, avoid Richards with passing and switch wing, cos he did not get a decent cross when Richards is with him.

So lousy against a Rookie at home somemore!

ghimpheng SG

Switching wing is a tatical move to confuse man marking tatics and passing is a perfectly normal move to do in every match

and joe cole superb delivery assist rooney goal

rojak12 SG

Robben is good but too bad, yesterday this kid Richards play like he is an old bird. So much better than Lampard (where is he whole night?) and Single cross-over-hype-J.Cole.

Wait, it just happens they are from Chelsea. I not bias wan.

Richards play for Man City, I not bias, see that?

Wowoowwahahaha.....

Gerrard and Rooney wasted alot of chance delivered by Lampard And Joe Cole

and AJ went missing in and I wonder if Steve Maclaren Told Lampard to play more defensively and sitting in as a anchor man dm to allow carrick and gerrard

and i don't think robben switch wing according to his own will as he faced ashley cole on the right =/

and in injury time John Terry headed the ball into the ball towards gerrard and gerrard with a dissapointing shot

Gerrard and rooney wasted alot of chances

suckthumb.com SG

why would an AM be told to do a DM job when they already have a DM in the team??

Richards had a great debut, so lets not take away any of his credit..

England manager might have been pleased with the commitment of his players and stuff but seriously England just can't finished teams off when they're supposed to.. in actual fact, England didn't draw its rather they fail to win on a day when their tactics, gameplay and players are better then Holland..

ghimpheng SG

because carrick is quite slow but not as slow as ballack though and i think he is more a central midfield playmaker than DM

iceFatboy SG

well, richards is set to join the blues. no surprise there.
