its NSR150RR wif swingarm, there is no SP150RR. the same goes fer NSR150SP and not SP150. do get tis in ur head.

SP simply stands for sports production, not really the name mah. But many ppl call it that way liao.

If not vtr sp also call as sp meh.

Still got those who call NSR 150 SP as repsol..... repsol is the paintwork name.... not the bike model name..... What to say? The words there so big.... normally bike model is on the bike mah.... people see cbr.... wah cbr leh... people see rvf.... wah rvf leh.... people see repsol.... wah repsol leh..... Laughing

And for your info weezer, proarm is also a kind of swing arm… just that they call it as proarm….. as for your bike… itz double swing arm….. the thing that hold your rear wheel is call your swing arm…. get it?

Proarms r supposedly more rigid than normal swingarms as it only has a single armed attachment point (tyre mount). Normal swingarms with double arms are said to be able to 'twist' at the attachment points (by mere fractions). Normal arms are also harder to align after a tyre change or chain adjustment (two point adjustment).
Basicallly from my point of view it boils down to how much you have to spend and what you are using the bike for. If you r taking part in a GP race or such, you can change you tyres faster if weather conditions turn or your tyres wear out (le mans).
So if you have a proarm on your bike, know that you have paid xtra for it then the one with the normal swingarm. Difference? it's no big deal. just like some guys like bikes with ABS and other say it sucks.

the difference is very small because KIPS and RESOL are low horsepower bikes. however i think the rider definitely can feel the difference in a more powerful bike such as the R1 or GSXR.

y would pple wan to fix swing-arm on their bike when there's already a proarm for sp...
and when pple buy honda sport bike's is mainly becos of proarm... cos it can handle cornering better then the swingarm Twisted Evil

actually it's more the design of the frame that aids corner stability.

the pro arm is more a gimmick to street bikes, and more a convenience (tyre change/alignment) to race bikes, even then, hrc stopped using the proarm in 1996 for their 250s and 1998 for their 500s.

they use this now.
