thats the problem with buying ANYTHING on instalments.
especially bikes where they keep the log cards and so u r
restricted to doing so many things like choosing ur own insurance
scheme etc. changing of ownership only requires the price for the
transfer of the name only. no such thing as documentation fee etc.
liek someone mentioned, only black shops haf this so called
documentation fee. thats how these shops earn money u know! now u
are limited with just a few choices only. either share the
documentation fee cost with the new buyer OR ask the new buyer to
ride under ur name lah..or tell the new buyer to settle the money
with bike shop then transfer name. i bought my bike once on instals
myself and had to wait till all instals cleared then only managed
to transfer name. sianz... hope the info helps !
