As you might know that the Gilera Runner 180 SP is basically a
scotter class motorbike. So you might expect similar handling for a
bike with "trans-city" commuting design. You can't compare an NSR
150 SP with this bike. They would both behave very differently at
bends, at different speed.
With Gilera's scooters, you might want to pay more attention on its
automatic gear change technology. Namely the CVT, I believe is
called "Constantly Variable Transmission". You get an almost
infinite gear optimised for any speed.
Personally I would recommend Gilera DNA 180 (4 stroke, 4 valve)
instead. With 14´´ wheels and duel rear suspension it might provide
superior road handling, especially if you like to bank a lot with
your bike. In fact my wife likes the look so much that we are
intending to get one by November (or earlier if we can't resist)
for her personal transport.
If Gilera were to introduce "Infinite Variability in Valve Timing"
technology too, I would not hesitate to get one for myself!!!
cheers!
