i wonder if chelsea have made any money on any player they have sold so far.

monoslayer SG

nope.. in fact they suffered a loss of 53m pounds in the last 3 yrs..

http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=5839

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has dropped a massive £53.15 million in three years in failed signings.

Damien Duff, 27, signed from Blackburn for £17m at the start of Red Rom's revolution in July 2003 and joined Newcastle on Saturday night for a knockdown £5m.

Defender Asier Del Horno, 25, switched to Valencia for £4.8m - 13 months after arriving at Stamford Bridge from Athletic Bilbao for £8m.

But these are by no means the biggest dents in Abramovich's wallet.

The mega-rich Russian let Juan Veron go to Inter Milan for nothing in June 2005 after splashing out £15m on the Manchester United midfielder two years earlier.

And Red Rom lost all of the £15.8m he paid Parma for Adrian Mutu when Chelsea sacked the cocaine-snorting striker for failing a drug test in 2004.

they will if they sell lampard, joe cole and robben as well as terry, but they won;t.

carlton cole for 2M, maybe made a little. Eidur Gujohnsen how much did they sell him for?i think they made on him.

It will take chelsea a decade or more to break even

Urroh SG

At current rate, i think Chelsea will suffer losses forever, two of their players Essien and Andriy Shevchenko bought so expensive.. only winning champion league can cover half only.. for a year.. wait sell them for losses again.. Neutral
