Hey Guys,

Wait for my REPSOL 4T Racing which will be arriving in early April. It is the actual oil used by the HONDA-REPSOL Team in the track for the MotoGP. Was told by my Taiwan friend that it is really superior. Watch for it.

HighwayAngel SG

Heheheh do u guys really change ure engine oil everyday? or at least twice a weeks? If not hor y used racin oil … anyway two stroke bike should used gear oil…. cos our oil never went all the way up to piston… and oso,... pple in Races change their oil everytime after they race… y ???>> the viscosity of the oil is good lor esp in high temp but then life span of oil not long enuf if u were to say u change once a month or once in two.

HighwayAngel SG

Anyway its just a suggestion. I’m using motul gear oil in the past now me using normal CHEAP CHEAP 4T nia… still the same…not much different

HighwayAngel SG

Oh yeah by the way 2T must used good one lah if ure using a 2 stroke bike for long term.

tOngEh SG

agree with highwayangel,
u must depend on wat type of event then u can choose ur best 4T for that particular event.
for eg u are going for racing then u must use very light compound 4T like 15w50 or 10w30.
if u going for normal riding then use 20w40.
im using silkolene 15w50 high rev gd but when switching to neutral not easy.
gear oil is also gd but i prefer 4T.
wat qn will u ask next????

I recommend 4T
MOTUL300V ($22-$25) A very well known French made champion oils used by SUBARU in their World Rally. The Yamaha YZF-R7 (Noriyuki Haga) also uses this oil for his WSB conquest. The oncoming motoGP (4stroke GP) also has Max Biaggi (Yamaha) and Kenny Roberts Jr (suzuki) using it for their fight in the GP1 this April2002. Contact Motorworld at 8440792

Other brands also highly recommended - MOTOREX 10W/60, 15W/50, 10W/50 Power synthetic 4T. (motorworld and Max Equipment -tel: Bryan 90230860)
Sikolene. (Ask ivan. He's more familiar with this oil.

2T also I recommend MOTUL600 and 800. These oils were also used by Max Biaggi and Kenny Roberts Jr. They don't come cheap. About $17 for MOTUL600 and $22-$25 for MOTUL 800. I've used MOTUL800 before and it really helps a lot in performance much much much more better than CASTROL TTS.

MOTOREX fully synthetic 2T also not bad. Worths the try. $20 only.

Rock oil I not sure. But esso not that good. Try and avoid that. 2T and 4T are like the blood of the engine like blood in a human body. Not advisable to compromise the quality.

My bike used castrol A747 and engine oil cheap cheap one can anot hahahah… but of cos i change my engine oil everytime after i drag lah….

l3stat SG

whoa whoa whoa... the 2T does go up the piston... it's mixed together with the petrol and circulated around the engine...

I am currently using semi-synt (Castrol Activ 2T) at the moment and am pretty satisfied with it! Used Castrol TTS before but because I do not high rev my bike, it comes out as an oily residue on my pipe.

Anyway, I found out a local website that sells Silkolene. It is not cheap at all! The semi-synt. 2T is already S$15! Wow...need to reconsider Smile http://www.fuchs.com.sg/main.htm

tOngEh SG

if u wan normal race 2T is onli $7 at magdaco
the website is not sg based!
