I'm not sure which championship you've been watching, but that
sure isn't F1 2006.
If I was 100 metres ahead of another car and irrationally received
a blocking penalty, I'd be screaming blue murder. If my team mate
in an identical car can't be anywhere near me on the track for more
than half the season, I'd be ready to shoot someone. If after 18
months, the FIA wakes up one morning and decides that my car's
suspension system, which has remained unchanged all this time, is
suddenly illegal, I'd be going up the bloody wall trying to find
the balance on a car that's suddenly become a patchwork thanks to
wonky regulations. If after a consecutive series of screwups,
things finally come together, I'd be pole dancing on my car because
no matter what's happened, it's worked in my favour.
Would you be that cool under all that pressure, or did you simply
miss all of that?
If there's anybody who cracks under pressure, it's Scummaker. Just
watch Adelaide 1994 and Jerez 1997 and say it ain't so - I dare
ya.
