i think what he means is that the instalments left amount to
$3600±. so once he pays the mototiam that amount, the bike will
officially be his.
most probably the shop will be charging him an extra $100± as
'administration charges' on top of the $50± transfer fee which goes
to LTA.
the insurance most probably isn't transferable, what can be done is
either he adds you in as his sub rider till the insurance ends or
you gotta get a new insurance, which isn't cheap.
whether or not it is an FU or FP plate shouldn't be of much
concern.... wah liew SP mah... honda reliability!!
at most spend another $4-500 overhaul it loh...
i think it is a rather good deal.
