there is a reason the 1st lane is called the overtaking
lane. it may be wrong to speed, but it's a bigger wrong to road
hog.
i've seen this discussed in various car forums, and
most of them would agree that, even if they're travelling at 160kmh
on the 1st lane, if they notice a vehicle behind that is faster,
they will give way.
this is termed road courtesy.
CAR.
this situation you are talkin bout, the car is capable of lane
changing left, yes?
then i will agree wif you that if it were a bike then yes the rider
must do the same thing and provide courtesy for the mad clown
behind him
pls understand that wat i'm talking bout is a rider already on the
leftmost lane, the lane already meant for slower vehicles.
i dont think u can compare my point with an example of a car coz
cars cannot give way within the lane, we are tokkin bout bikes
giving way within the lane. i agree wif all the stuff u are saying
bout courtesy from cars coz i think bike must oso show courtesy as
if he car. then shouldnt car show courtesy to bike as if he car
also? that means no overtakin within the lane, coz you car u dont
overtake other cars within the lane do you?
