2 stroke burns once for every engine rev.... 4 stroke burns once
for every 2 engine rev. The 1st rev is to compress the gas, second
rev is to burn....so you would roughly get twice the hp for 2
stroke bike as compared to 4 stroke wif same cc.
This is in theory but practically, it all depends on the
compression ratio, mechanical efficiency, friction, weight. In
short, bike and engine design that determine the performace of
individual bike.
