chain noisy means 2 things
1. chain loose.
chk for free play. meaning u pull the chain off the end of the
sproket and see how much slack there is.
donch knoe the amt for sp. mebbe other sp riders would advise u
?
2. chk ur sprokets.
is the teeth too sharp ?
of it is, means its going to go soon.
advice: change chain and sproket in a set.
eg. u change chain and use back old sproket.
like that would cause the chain to wear off faster also.
also, do clean ur chain regularly. i posted something sometime
back. if ure keen on how to do so, pls do a search.
it proven that regular chain maintainence does help increase the
lifespan of the chain significantly.
as for the other problem....
a few causes.
wheel bearing gone?
this wan i dunno how to chk. others pls advise
steering cone?
a set of bearings that control ur steering. when one of it wears
off, one side would be harder to turn than the other. can feel
it
how to test.
sometimes the roads in sg are pretty f**cked up. bumpy, sandy,
wadeva u can think of *its still better than our neighnbour
country's roads*
i suggest u ride in a multi story carpark and feel if the problem
still exists. or izzit juz a psycological effect.
