acoolboy7 SG Depends on condition of bike. u go see bike and point out a lot of minor faults and make it sound like u care a lot about it. then when talk price when the guy, can lower by a lot. FS ard 4k can get good condition one.

tzrr SG Is $3550 (exclude insurance) worth paying for a 3 digit FR Phamtom, very well maintained, customised with sidebox, crash bar, foot rest, etc. seems quite good leh although its a 1999 bike and traveled 34000kms.
Imaginary SG For your information, I sold mine just last month for $3300. 07/'00 FS plate, nonfango box, a pair of rodeo side boxes, foot rest, mileage 24k (around there), metzeler(rear) and pirelli(front) tyres.
Imaginary SG I sold it to the motor shop; coz I was getting another bike anyway so by selling it to them and they would settle all the paperwork for me. I like hassle-free transactions.

Imaginary SG One word - power. Especially when VTEC sets in..... but not much chance to use it these days; the roads are full of tps... only when I'm very very sure that it's safe, then I'll open throttle; license is very precious leh...I still want to take class 2.
Imaginary SG Take note though, that the phantom speedometer is not accurate. I read somewhere that someone tested it so a 120km/h on a phantom is actually only about 100km/h in reality. I've also felt it 'coz when I go at 100 on the S4, it's like 120 on my ex-phantom.
