How to pass TP?

Hi all,
Pls help me.. i gonna take TP for the 4th time. My killer mistakes are wobbling when turning. Got this 3 times and that is 12 demerit points gone. wobble once for starting/stopping and thats 14 pts. How to pass when i only left 4 pts for any additional mistakes? Can anyone teach me how not to wobble at U-Turns, fig 8? gues my wobbling came from there though i canot feel it at fig 8. TP are so strict! me getting despaired

i practical 3 now me also bike keep wobbling... heng instructer nv see... but he did gave me a warning when i told him honestly... he say bike wobble in tp very serious case...

then when i move off and right turning sure wobble 1... make the bike go in a biger turn then i can manage to ride back to the centre where the arrow is shown... sibeh jia lat hor...

when after we just came back from road when pratical 8 , de instruter told me to go n pratice turning here n there for 15 min , cos me still wobbling during turns , den i think fark ,fail liao lar , den after 15min come back me pass woOhoo can go book tp , but me going go lots of self pratice cos i still dont know y he say i wobble during turns

To solve the wobbling problem
u must 1st determine ur cornering ability...
some ppl like to corner low low, some ppl dun dare to corner low low..
if u dare to go lower, u must be throttle fierce..
if u jus normal turning, must control throttle...
to actually prevent wobbling, u must practise fast turning n slow turning, after that u wil know ur cornering limit... n then u wun wobble when turning liao lor!

some people blame it on the bike on wobbling. I agree the bikes are not in really good condition, u just have to get use to them fast.(go for more self practice) so the most u’ll be wobbling ur way out of the starting pt, and able to control the bike for the rest of the test route.

If I'm not wrong, ur main prob should be ur eye pt and nt gripping ur fuel tank. Remember tis: Ur eye pt beri impt during cornering (includes fig 8 and crank cse ) bcos it determines the turning radius of ur bike and posture.

ga ga throttle! When u decide u want to move off then make sure u really MOVE off! Dun hesitate, apply throttle!

Come to corners, close throttle a little then just take the corner! Dun go into a corner then hesitate and close and open and close throttle! Like this sure wobble! Exude confidence! Instructor see liao comfrm pass u!

Thanks all for answering me. But den, no instructors have ever sae that i wobble during turnings. But i know i do wobble at times during the obstacles like fig 8 but is not always. Moreover, for instances where u have to u-turn after u stop for U-turning, how can u go fast? i know eye point is imp for that but still tend to wobble a bit (esp after i stop at red light), dunno issit becos it is at gear one n i have maintain constant velocity at half clutch or wd.
have anyone tried to u-turn at 2nd gear? (aft u stop at red light) wonder if that's a better deal.suggestions anyone?

u only u-turn in second gear when you reach the traffic light when it is still green, if you are trying to move off in second gear, a bit difficult but can just with some wobbling and must control clutch. if skill good then no wobbling lor, try to go to gear one when moving and stopping. when moving off at junction, go gear 1, half clutch move off steadily, open trottle and slowly release clutch, eye point on the middle of the road, look far dun look below or you will tend to go too near the divider. hope this helps you Smile

Carry more weights, then make ur arm stronger, then when u corner, u won’t shake that much on the handle… its true u know! Hope this helps..

ya, i know u have to be at gear1 when u start or stop but wd i meant was at the U turn junction, u start at gear1 and den move to gear2 b4 u make ur turn.Has anyone tried this? do u guys realli think wobbling haas to do with the arms being not strong enuff? i personally feel is cos of the eye point and the gripping of the tank.

y worry so much abt wobbling... although 4 pts is alot but once u pass ur tp ah, u can ride free hands liao... no need grip the tank... no need check blindspot (unless u blow ppl) hehehe...

er... doing the u-turn is almost exactly like doing the crank course.. that's assuming that you stop at the junction lar.. wobbling is caused by incorrect acceleration, mostly too much or too little. too much, you'll be struggling to control the direction, and the panicky braking you'll apply then doesn't help much either. too little, you'll be struggling to balance the bike (think narrow plank when your bike almost "see-chia"). i'd say try to improve your clutching and throttling when moving off, and if you master the figure 8 and crank course, there should be no problems... what i do whenever i'm waiting for people in front is that i push the bike backwards (a little), and then release clutch and throttle.. so i get familiar with the bike's biting point and characteristics. wears out the clutch plates i know.. but erm.. your concern is to pass right? Very Happy besides.. they service their bikes also.. so why not?? oh please check behind you when you do this, and don't do it during the test hor...
