almost no sound from horn...=batt weak??

hey guys...my horn doesn't seems to wrok well..when headlight on more jialat...no sound at all..is the batt weak or wat?

since u brought up this problem, i also got problem. actually the horn is not so important lar, bikers seldom use it lor... my problem is also not too jialat. is jus that the signal indicator doesnt seem to blink lor..
the left n right signals can work, but the indicator above my speedometer deosnt light up at all.. sumtimes got sumtimes dun have..
but my neutral light n high beam light stil ok leh.
issit becos of the batt, or the cable loose?
mine problem about the same as the horn one lar... i suppose..

maybe because you all ride in the rain and rain water get into the horn and you all press the sound understand ...

you all may check the battery water if the battery water is not up to the upper level ... TOP UP ... then check for the two wires connecting to the battery it is tight meaning no loose ends ...

For signal lights ... it is the same but if signal lights does not blink at all ... the relay is spoil ...change a new relay will do the job ...

regarding battery problem just pray that the problems doesn't lies on the rectrifier

also if your signal is not blinking properly.. maybe your signal relay is spoilt.. it only cost RM10..

i think the reason why the signal on your speedo didnt blink bcoz the bilb is blown.. nothing serious..

For the sppedometer: i tink the bulb is not blown lar.. cos sumtimes got, sumtimes dun have lor..
Singnal lights: my right side blinkers is working normally
but my left side blinkers, when i dun throttle, they stay lighted up but no blink lar.. when throttle then got blink..
maybe wat u say is correct, the 'relay' thing.. or cable loose...
this sat i goin to change engine oil. shun bian ask the mechanic to do for me lor.. shld be a small problem..

jus wanna ask, the 2t tank can take out n drain the old 2t? cos when i bought the 2nd hand bike, the 2t doesnt seem to finish leh.. left little bit leh..my bike is TA150

same with mine ... after 5 from motorshop, the battery died, the horn dead, the sign bulb stop blinking. Then I recharge the battery, after 1 month .. the bulb stop blinking again.. I think it is because of the front beam. Original bike from factory can switch off the front beam completely, but for bikes in SG, the dealer seal up the switch with glue (it is very obvious on SP's handlebar, got glue there).
In other countries, front beam only used from 6:00pm - 6.00am, or when foggy/heavy rain on daylight...

aaron phamton FS plate and SP FT plate headlights cannot switch off one ... those can switch off is they ask their mech to do one ... very cheap nia also heee

mine is a FS phantom, but my headlight can be turned off leh.. issit mean mine had been altered by the mech b4?
aiya doesnt matter wan, as long as i keep it on lor..
but let me advise the biker here that if u forgot to on the headlight at nite is damn dangerous. that time i at holland drive riding up slope at about 70-80 kmh, got one rxz turning rite facing me.. cos he cannot see the light as i coming up, so he about to go then he saw me, jammed brakes sia.. i only slowed down abit n then siam him lor..
this is the danger when u forgot to on ur headlights at nite..
so take care bikers!
