Hi Xavier,

Just wondering, why did your friend sell the DNA and purchase a SP? Is it because of high maintenance and $$$ parts for the Gilera? Reason I am asking is because I was actually contemplating buying one last year.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Ahh...so the performance of the Gilera is not comparable to the SP. However, I love the look, simplicity of it though!

It's not so much on performance though the pick-up is quick....!

Top speed is at a pathetic 122km/h.

MAIN reason is because.....NO RESALE VALUE! My god, 9 out of ten motorshop doesn't even wanna take it in......That's the main part!

Other than that, is that all his buddies around him are riding SPs...That why...!
