New Arai helmets will always be more expensive when compared to
same range of helmets by made other companies. Part of the reason
for this being that Aria helmets tend to be very well made, has the
longest factory recommended change period in the world (5yrs vs
2yrs), paintwork lasts a long long time if taken care of & very
comfy.
A good choice for low to mid range full face helmets would be HJC.
This company's products are on the rising & more riders are
learning that good quality & cost effectiveness can be found.
You would usually pay abt S$200 to S$300 for a decent HJC. Arai's
cost abt S$400 to S$600. Plus HJC also passes the same tough SNELL
M2000 test like the Arai's.
Hope this helps.
